The Association

European Association for Cytochrome P450 Research (EACR) is non-profit, educational and scientifical society with activities focused on:

  1. organization of scientific meetings and conferences,
  2. exchange of current knowledge and ideas on drug-metabolizing enzymes (mainly cytochromes P450).

It helps also younger colleagues getting into contact with laboratories doing research in P450 field.
The EACR is a non-governmental, non-profit association of scientists with no financial + ies to any legal bodies.

The, last, very successful 15th International Conference on Cytochromes P450 was held in Bled, Slovenia, under chairmanship of Damjana Rozman. It is a good tradition that at the very end of this event, a summary of highlights is presented. This has been done by Ron Estabrook until the Dallas meeting in 2005.
In Bled, Rita Berhardt has presented a very pertinent summary and hence has very successfully continued in this tradition. Rita has also agreed to post her presentation in this web site. Thanks to her you all can enjoy the summary of P450 highlights here.
